Sports Programs

Marana residents look to Parks and Recreation for opportunities to get in the game. We offer a variety of well-organized recreational sports for youth and adults in our beautiful Marana parks. Marana is a place where you can come to make friends, compete and have fun.

Youth Sports- Spring 2015 
Pee Wee Soccer 
Pee Wee Soccer is a fun, coed activity that teaches new soccer fundamentals in a 1-hour, weekly practice setting. This program is a great way to spark interest in this fast-action, world-wide sport! Program is eight weeks long. NOTE: Not a competitive league.
 Parent participation is encouraged in this program and is greatly appreciated.

Space is limited to only 30 participants per age group/per location 
Cost: $40 resident | $50 non-resident

Tennis Lessons

Get OFF the couch and on the court with eight, 1-hour tennis lessons. 
All skill levels welcome! Join us to develop and enhance coordination, fundamentals, knowledge of rules, and sportsmanship, while having fun on the tennis court. Each participant is responsible for providing their own tennis racket.

Program Dates: Saturdays, March 28- May 16

Continental Ranch Neighborhood Park (8900 N. Coachline Blvd.)
Cost per session: $50 residents | $62.50 non-residents

Junior Golf Lessons
This is a four week lesson designed to develop and enhance coordination, golf fundamentals, rules, sportsmanship and fun for ages 5-17. Course will be taught by a professional golf instructor. First three weeks of lessons will focus on skill development with the final lesson consisting of on course work (the final lessons will be determined on course availability).
