Landscape Maintenance/Inmate Crews
In cooperation with the Marana Treatment Facility, Operations and Maintenance utilizes inmate labor to accomplish landscape clean-up and weed removal from right of ways and medians. Our trained staff consists of two former corrections officers, skilled in supervising inmate personnel. The Inmate Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the contract work for landscape services on certain medians and right of ways within the Town of Marana’s boundaries.
Mission Statement
”The mission of the Landscape Maintenance Group is to provide cost-efficient services to improve the appearance and safety of the Town of Marana by cleaning right of ways, washes, and landscaped areas. This is accomplished by managing local resources in an effective manner with regards to Public Safety and respect for our Citizens.”
