The Marana Regional Airport was purchased by the Town in 1999 from Pima County. The three-letter identifier for the airport is AVQ.
The Marana Regional Airport is classified as a general aviation reliever airport for Tucson International. It is located approximately 15 nautical miles northwest of Tucson and is 5 miles west of Interstate 10 on Avra Valley Road. The airport is home to more than 310 based aircraft and had more than 110,000 takeoffs and landings in 2010. The airport's main runway is 6,900 feet and the crosswind runway is 3,900 feet.

Tucson Aeroservice Center, offers Jet A, 100LL, rental cars, air charter flights, aircraft maintenance and repair, and flight instruction.
Pima Aviation is responsible for all based and transit aircraft at the airport. It currently leases 232 T-Hangars and 28 covered tiedowns. The Town is responsible for the 94 open tiedowns.
The Sky Rider Cafe is one of the most popular Arizona fly-in restaurants for breakfast and lunch.
