Permit Center
Thank you for visiting the Town of Marana’s Permit Center. Permits allow the Town to monitor and regulate all construction-related projects to ensure public safety for the entire community. Permits are issued for a variety of needs, including building, planning and zoning, grading, right-of-way, floodplain use, environmental clearances, and signage.
To obtain a permit, an application must be completed and submitted with all necessary fees. Some types of permits require additional documentation, such as construction and site plans, to be submitted for review prior to the permit being issued. To check if the permit you need for your project requires additional documentation or fees, please review the individual permit applications below.
Please note that a permit is not required for all types of work. Some smaller projects, such as painting or minor home repairs, may be performed without applying for a permit. It is recommended that you always contact the Town of Marana Development Services Center in advance to see if your project requires a permit. Additionally, applicants should contact their local homeowners associations to see if there are any further restrictions or requirements in their neighborhood.
