Town of Marana Building Safety Department is authorized to issue permits and collect fees per Section 7-1-1 of the Town Code. Collected fees support Building Services Department functions as well as functions of other Town departments that provide essential services to the community.
Fees collected by the Town's Planning, Public Works, and Building Safety Departments can be viewed via the link, Marana Ordinance No. 2006.7. In regard to Building Safety Department fees, calculation methods, valuation and permit fee tables, and miscellaneous fees are presented on Pages 15 - 20.
The Building Safety Department can be contacted at (520) 382-2600 to obtain a calculation of anticipated building permit fees. It should be noted that specific impact fees (see Impact Fee Map and Impact Fees by Subdivision) may be imposed in addition to the calculated building permit fees. Also, please be advised that fees and indirect costs from other agencies (see Other Agency Contact Information) involved in the permit process may affect the total cost associated with the procurement of a building permit over and above those fees payable to the Town of Marana. |
