Development Services
The Town of Marana Development Services Center (DSC) is available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, to assist with all plan review, permitting and inspection needs. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help with projects of any size. We now offer our "permit concierge" service and over-the-counter permitting for many types of projects, making doing business in Marana easier than ever. Taxes & Fees
Marana's tax and fee structure is among the lowest in Arizona and the southwestern United States. The Town of Marana does not assess a property tax and has no impact fees for commercial or industrial development (with the exception of utilities). Our tax rates are generally low and fees are designed with business needs in mind.

Marana Chamber of Commerce
The Marana Chamber of Commerce is the leading advocate for business and commerce in the Marana area. The Chamber boasts approximately 500 members representing diverse industries and offers outstanding networking opportunities for the business community.

Pima Community College - Business Resources
Pima Community College offers standard and customized training for businesses, as well as small business services and internship opportunities for students. Pima Community College - Northwest Campus is located just outside the Marana town limits at 7600 N. Shannon Road, Tucson, AZ.

Microbusiness Advancement Center
The Microbusiness Advancement Center (MAC) is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals start, fund and grow their businesses by providing quality business education and access to capital. The MAC is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, United Way and the City of Tucson.

Pima County ONESTOP Career System
Pima County ONESTOP is a system of organizations that provide career development services for youth and adults and support to employers in recruiting, staffing and training a viable workforce. ONESTOP is funded through the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and is a great resource if your company is looking for quality employees.

Pima County Public Library - Business Info Center
The Pima County Public Library system offers outstanding resources to support local businesses, including research services, small business workshops and sample business plans. Marana is home to two public libraries in the Pima County system: the Geasa-Marana Library at 13370 N. Lon Adams Road and the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library at 7800 N. Schisler Drive.

Pima County Industrial Development Authority
The Pima County Industrial Development Authority (IDA) can issue bonds to provide funds for the financing or refinancing of the costs of acquisition, construction, improvement, rehabilitation or equipping of a qualifying project. The IDA's interests include the promotion of economic development and affordable housing.
