The Town of Marana Planning Commission has many responsibilities to the Town Council and its Citizens regarding Land Development. The Commission’s role is an Advisory Body that holds Public Hearings and Study Sessions and makes recommendations to the Mayor and Council on development related issues such as General Plan Amendments, Rezoning, Land Development Code Ordinances, Design Guidelines, Utilities, and Transportation.
The Commission meeting begins at 6:30 pm, meetings are held at the Marana Town Hall. Monthly Commission Agendas are available at Marana Development Services on the Monday before the Meeting.
Public Involvement
Commission Meetings are public forums for Citizen participation. At the meetings, Citizens are welcome to speak at “Call to the Audience” or on specific Public Hearing Agenda items.
