The Marana Police Department is a growing department that offers many opportunities for individuals with the right attitude and skills. If you have an interest in a career in law enforcement, and a desire to be affiliated with a community-oriented, professional department.
Recruit Testing:
No applications will be accepted on or before a posted test date. Those that succeed in our testing process will proceed to a background investigation and will be asked to provide both the Marana Police application and the AZPOST application at that time.
The Town of Marana Police Department currently has not scheduled a recruit testing process and therefore we are not accepting applications.
Lateral Opportunities:
The Town of Marana is currently accepting applications for a lateral appointment for two (2) Police Officer positions. Detailed information is located on the Town of Marana website: Employment section. Interested individuals who meet the minimum qualifications must complete an AZ P.O.S.T. application located on a link below. The application must be submitted to the Human Resources Department for consideration. The first review will be after July 23, 2010, and the final review will be after August 6, 2010 when the posting closes.
Failure to complete the required documents by the closing date may result in disqualification from further consideration. Candidates are responsible for verifying receipt of all materials.
