Welcome to the Town Clerk’s elections page. The Town Clerk is the officer responsible for Town elections, and will serve as your point of contact for any election related questions. The Town Clerk will be more than happy to provide you with prospective candidate documents, voter registration information, requests for an early mail ballot, and polling place information.
The Town of Marana holds Council elections in March and May of odd-numbered years. Other elections may be scheduled; contact the Clerk’s office if you have any questions about election dates. All Marana elections are non-partisan, and Council members are elected at large.
Although successful candidates do not take office until the canvass of the vote following the general election, candidates may be elected at the primary. (Marana Town Code, Title 2, Section 2-2-1)
